About Us
Deborah Avrin, SPHR, brings over 18 years human resources and training experience to her company Management Skills Resource, Inc. Her coaching skills have assisted countless managers to improve their performance in such diverse industries as financial services, manufacturing, education, non-profit and telecommunications.

Prior to beginning her consulting practice in 1998, Deborah held a variety of top-level human resources leadership positions in both the financial services and manufacturing industries. She also has held operational management positions, which enables her to understand the unique training needs of managers. During her career, she developed and delivered numerous management and customer-service training courses resulting in an increase in confidence and the abilities of the management team. Topics included: Leadership, Performance Appraisal, Interviewing and Teambuilding. Her reputation is as a motivator with an inspiring training style that encourages others to excel.

Her educational background includes a BBA in Human Resources and a Masters Degree in Organizational Behavior. Deborah holds a lifetime Senior Professional in Human Resources certification and teaches the SHRM Workshop for PHR/SPHR certification through the University of Dallas. She serves as the President for the Dallas chapter of the American Society for Training and Development and regularly volunteers with the Dallas HR Association.
